Tags and Awards

Just some baguette earrings, so you don't have the feeling to come on my blog for nothing :D
These baguettes are available in my etsy shop.

So I've been collecting some awards and tags these past days (is it the season?? lol)

1. SIX THINGS THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY:

So this is the first, I was tagged by:
- Linda from linsminis, who do some awesome miniature food
- GUM, goldenunicornminis.blogspot.com, who makes amazing miniatures plants :)

So here the 6 things which makes me happy:
- when my boyfriend looks at me cutely and says "I love you"
- eating croissants in the morning
- going out to the restaurant
- sun and cold dry weather :)
- earing music with my amazing KOSS headphones and making miniatures
- reading a good book

2. DESAFIO CHALLENGE - SEVEN RANDOM THINGS ABOUT ME

Tagged by Juanita from juanitatortilla.blogspot.com,
'7 random things about me', huh. So here there are:

1- I never leave the house without earrings, which are a real addiction to me. I love earrings, don't know why exactly :D
2- I eat meat and love it. I have the feeling many of you are vegetarians and for a reason I don't understand you have the urge to tell the world, so I'm telling you I'm not. :D
3- I never drink alcohol because I don't like its taste.
4- I'm what we could call an asocial person. I have hard time being with real persons in life as there always is something that gets on my nerved. I don't have the problem on the Internet as you only see and know a few facets of a person, which ease the relationships a lot!
5- I speak three languages, French, German and English and would like to learn Russian and Portuguese.
6- I am lunatic. Yes, Linda, if you're reading this, you got me to the core :D I may be very happy on one day and totally down on the other.
7- I don't wear make-up

SOooooooooooooo, Now, I'm going to tag hm 5 persons (that's enough I thing) for both things, so they can choose from (I'm such a nice girl, right? :D)
- Linda from une-petite-folie.blogspot.com, who made a beautiful dollhouse
- Betty from live-mini.blogspot.com, who makes fruit canes passionately
- Mitsy aka Artmind from artmind-etcetera.blogspot.com, a wonderful artist
- Greet from fleurfatale.blogspot.com, who makes gorgeous jewelry
- Ravenhill from ravenhill.typepad.com/weblog, who makes lovely babuschka dolls

OK!
Pfew, I hope it wasn't too boring for you (or at least less than it was for me :D)

Breakfast. Alice. Eleonore.

Eleonore: See, Alice, here it's very simple.

Eleonore: You get tons and tons of food and you just need to grab it.

Eleonore: And it tastes well.
Alice: aah
Eleonore: yeah and that's the price for being photographed like we were superstars.

:D sorry for those who don't like dolls.
Eleonore is a pukipuki lily from fairyland.
Alice is a Lati white sp tanned gloomy, limited edition.
And I'm just a crazy girl :P
All the food is handmade by me (of course)

So this week's challenge theme is "gorgeous but cheap" and is hosted by Rita from alatvian.etsy.com on her blog. My entry to that challenge is a fruit salad ring, which is, according to me, gorgeous. Yet it's still very affordable!

Pizza fever!

Here's the second sort of a request which came out during my give-away poll.
This time, Estella from StarOfTheEast asked eagerly for pizza (I guess she's a pizza freak, but I'm one as well, sooo...). Here are the pizzas I made:

Artists I Love - Vaisto

I decided to feature sellers.
Just because I like them.
And because I own something from them.

2d feature is Vaisto.

I bought an Elf hoodie from her. Her shop is like a fairy tale, only pixie or elf like clothes with amusing designs which are still wearable.
This morning I finally took some pictures of this gorgeous hoodie (which is by the way OOAK hahaha! Mine! It's miiine!!)

Yeah wearing this hoodie is a lot of fun! And everybody loves this gorgeous hoodie :)

Chocolate and mp3 Miniature

GIVE AWAY OF 35 USD until the 10.50.2009. Midnight
__________________________________

Hi all!

I'm quite busy these days between holding by mood with the Twilight Saga (I've almost finished the second book, trying not to read the whole day through), school (still shuddering and unsure to be able to handle this), minifood jewelry, miniatures and the SIMP.

Here's a glance at chocolates which I will expose at the SIMP. I still need to make a furniture to display them properly.

I also bought a brand new mini mp3 player. I had one, but it died (poor thing) and even if I'm not using a mp3 player daily I really like it when taking train or plane. As I will go visit my grandmother next weekend, it was quite urgent I got a new one. Anyway, it's darn cute and little and, according to all the critics I've read on the Internet, the sound should be great.
I'm still waiting for my KOSS headphones to try it out (yes I'm spoiling myself, I'm aware of this)

Ok, now I'm off, I must clean up my creative mess a fill my day without thinking about twilight :)

Hmm, mostly boring stuff

GIVE AWAY OF 35 USD

Hi!

I finished the first book from Stephenie Meyer. I'll start the second soon. But my mood is too bad to start it yet. I should though, I think it's the only possible way to get my brain out of my life.
I heard today from my teacher that my practice report (probably one of the most boring thing to do just after the practice itself) lacks of illustrations. That is a problem. I don't have any illustration or graphics from my practice, because I didn't take some. I've got some (very few maybe 3 or 4) drawings in a sketch book, but well... I would need to redo them in order for them to look presentable. Then, The report also lacks of text. Thats is also a problem. I don't know what to say more. As if this would have any importance at all.

Well and then there's still my architecture project which is in baby phase. No idea at all about its general shape let alone the structure. At least its settlement/setting up (??) is more or less done. My autocad file is still pretty empty though.
So yes we could assume that I feel pretty much down. (and I won't tell you again how unpleased I am to live where I do)

I'm not sure how you could help me either. I just need to get rid of that here and not at home. I'm afraid my boyfriend will fall in a depression as well if I continue telling him about that.

That's it.

Fruits Tarts and Personal Things

Hi all!

First of all I need to thank you for the incredible rush to the giveaway I'm doing! It really pleases me to see you so want to win it :)
Now I've been working on what I call my "fruit pastry collection", proving my true addiction to fruit tarts!
I finally could make some rings, as supplies finally reached my home!
So here are some of the new rings I made:

You may notice the total lack of originality regarding the photos... the same way of displaying the rings... Need to work on this *sigh*
And I also finally was brave enough to make a bracelet! I'm wearing it myself, I need to see if it's stable enough in order to sell it. It looks cute I think and I tried to make a convincing design (this is my very first attempt, I may make better ones)

And while I feel like writing today, I must admit something I'm, to say the least, not very proud of. I love the story twilight. I saw the film during the flight to South Korea (while I was totally sick and tired) and loved it, even though I knew this wasn't what I call a good film (too youngish to my taste).
But I love vampires, I've always been attracted to them, due to their age and so their bigger knowledge, their intelligence, their cold and distant behavior, their beauty and... their dangerousness.
I'm actually like this with 'normal' people as well. I'm attracted by people who are weird or distant (I met my boyfriend because he was so 'in his world' and distant).
I bet nobody excepted this from me, but yes I really like vampires. Next to that fact I was always drawn to gothic and romantic stories like Dracula and Frankenstein (most favorite next to 1984).
Mix all this likeness with the fact that I don't like my life right now and I really needed an escape, I couldn't but other and buy the three first books (soft cover in English, very cheaply gathered on amazon.co.uk).
Yeah and I'm hooked, really.
Oh and if you're still reading, I must admit I also love to read, I'm a real bookworm, so despite the fact that this is a teenie book, I enjoy it (maybe too much?), received the book today and already am on page 172. Stephenie Meyer has an interesting way of writing, I like it a lot, it's descriptive enough and still captivating and 'fast' enough.
I really needed to tell you this, in hope that you all will be very diplomatic telling me twilight is a great story (...) and not laugh at me like the sister of my boyfriend does (but I can't say anything I so much laugh at her and her tastes...)

Ok, see sometimes I can be chatty :)

xx
