Problem resolved!!
I got insulted and the miniaturist yelled at me but I got what I wanted :)

Then I also got some pictures stolen (again) on this stupid website. I'd be grateful if you would email them and spam them to hell. The background are MY pictures and nobody can use them prentending they're theirs. Laws on my side but nothing is as good as angry fans!

Ensuite, on m'a volé des images (encore) sur ce site débile. Merci de les spammer à mort en leur disant qu'il s'agit de MES images et qu'ils n'ont pas le droit de les utiliser. la loi est de mon côté, mais rien ne vaut des fans énervés!

And yeah I know I do them a favor in a way because I link to their website. So yell at them even harder for that.

Et oui je sais que je les arrange en leur faisant de la pub. Du coup, gueulez encore plus fort pour réparer cette erreur.

Goodbye 2010

Between Christmas and New Year I'm usually a little down. I don't want to expose the dark side of my being by trying to explain why. But thinking about what happened in 2010 usually cheers me up :)
And thinking about 2010, I realize how very much I achieved and how lucky I am.

- Featured Etsy seller in March
- Among 10 nominees from 300 participants in a French jewelry contest
- Etsy in euro yay!
- buying our first new car
- our first Dyson vacuum cleaner
- our very first flat (even if just a furnished one)
- 2 new computers just for me :)
- meeting a friend and her sweet family in Norway
- getting closer to some friends, one in Australia, one in Germany

I'm curious what 2011 will bring me (us).

Entre Noël et Nouvel An, j'ai tendance à être un peu démoralisée. Je ne vais pas vous montrer le côté obscur de mon âme, ni chercher à expliquer le pourquoi du comment. Mais penser à tout ce qui s'est produit en 2010 me remonte le moral.
Et en faisant la liste, j'ai réalisé à quel point tout va bien, finalement :)

- Etsy en euro ouais!
- notre première voiture neuve
- notre premier aspirateur Dyson
- notre premier appart (même si ce n'était qu'un meublé)
- 2 nouveaux ordis rien que pour moi :)
- rencontrer une amie et sa famille en Norvège
- se rapprocher d'une amie en Australie, d'une en Allemagne

Je suis curieuse de voir ce que 2011 m'apportera (nous apportera).

Modular Dollhouse - Overview

Old photos of an overview of the modular dollhouse. You can see how the rooms fit together.
Bottom left is kitchen and dining room, top bathroom and bedroom, right is the living room and in the front the bakery.
One day I'll have the time to make an exterior as well, but it can wait.
I like the fact it's all cardboard because it's very light. I can easily take each room and use them to photograph minis or installations.

Vieilles photos d'une vue d'ensemble de ma maison modulaire. On peut voir l'assemblement des pièces.
En bas à gauche, cuisine et salle à manger, en haut salle de bain et chambre. A droite salon et à l'avant boulangerie.
Un jour j'aurai le temps de faire l'extérieur, mais cela peut attendre.
Je suis contente d'avoir utilisé du carton mousse, car du coup c'est super léger et facile à transporter pour faire des photos.

Today I need a Mac/Apple geek.

I have a MacBook running under OS X.
Everthing was working fine until today.

I tried to log into the router-modem with the password and I just got the famous "connection time exceeded" (or something similar my mac is in French).

There also was another wifi connection without password in which I logged in and got into the web, but since I was afraid it wouldnt be sure I logged off very quickly.

I checked the access options and did this (which was probably stupid but I belive I did it on my Imac too - can't check though):
Mac User : reading and writing
Admins: reading and writing (or just reading I didnt change that one)
Everyone: forbidden access (it was "only reading")

I changed that both on the user's order and on the Mac hard drive (had to use my password to change it)

Anyway, I continued googling and searching for the internet pb and read someyhere that someone could log to the wifi with windows opened.

So I started windows on the macbook (yes Windows is installed) and I got a message error talking about an issue of access. I thought that it may have something to do with the changing of the access options, so wanted to change them back to "normal", but could not do it for the mac hard drive.
The little padlock remained closed.

So I thought, ok then just shut down the mac and restart it.

And since then: blue screen.

I tried to start it in safe mode, like they tell here: support.apple.com/kb/HT1455
I also tried alt+cmd+p+r (which applies to a gray screen but what the heck I'm clueless here)
But all I get in the so-called safe mode is a switching screen between a blue screen and a blue screen with a spinning wheel.

So if you have an idea on how to work through this I would be more than grateful.
Know some mac geek who could help? Then ask him/her!

I'm going to something like an apple store tomorrow, but if you have some ideas, shoot!

Noel Approche A Grands Pas

Christmas is approaching :)

I did the market stall entirely by myself with that crappy Balsa wood.  The cute gifts are bought on eBay somewhere and the Xmas tree I got from here, and I decorated it with various beads and candy.

And I'm leaving on the 17th of December to Berlin.

And while we're here don't forget to cast you vote :D

J'ai fait le stand de Noël moi même avec du balsa tout pourri. J'ai acheté les jolis packets de Noël sur eBay et l'arbre ici. Je l'ai décoré avec des perles et bonbons.
Et je pars le 17 décembre à Berlin.
