1:12 Messe 2011

Hey Everyone!

Last week-end was the 1:12 Messe - miniature fair and apart from meeting a few wonderful and sweet people, I also bought faaar too much minis. I think I didn't quite grab the idea of going there as a seller and making money...

Goodies:
Glass: drinking set + funky crooked bottle by Peter Böhm; Alvar Aalto vase and other vases by Leo Reijnders; Flowers by Jan van de Doel; mini tools by Pierluigi Pirovano (wonderful quality!); wood boards and table by Roland Irle (his booth was just behind mine so I ogled a lot! the table is actually an early b-day gift from my mum :)); Xmas minis are by Dieter Dorsch and Hans-Günter Flath.

Well and here's my booth. The fair was nice although quite tiring and I did slightly better than last year. Though I didn't cover the costs of hotel, train and fair expenses. My lovely mother was with me and it was sometimes a little unnerving that people thought she was the miniaturist behind PetitPlat. I was all the time standing up and saying "I do it" XD

I'm not quite back home yet and taking 1 week of vacation at a friend's place. I'll be fully back at work next Tuesday.

Move to Vannes & 1:12 Messe

Miniature bread for the miniature fairs

Wondering why you haven't heard from me in a while?
Well I moved to Vannes :)
It all happened extremely quickly. BF got a job interview, we went to Vannes, he got the job, we searched a flat in 3 days and 2 weeks later we moved in.
We arrived on Friday the 20th, and my studio (yeaaah I have a studiooooooo) is fully functionnal already :D

Blablabla, j'ai déménagé à Vannes! On est arrivé le 20 et le tout (entretien d'embauche de mon copain - chercher un appart - emménager) a été réglé en 2 semaines. 
Et j'ai un studio rien qu'à moooooooiiiiiii youpiiiiii!

Dumdidum Donuts

Donuts, my ever lasting miniature obsession.

New designs... again :D

I actually kept the chocolate ones with white icing for myself. They look way better in real that on the pictures. And choco donuts look great on fair skin like mine. I might do more of those.

De nouveaux modèles... encore :D

J'ai gardé la paire de donut au chocolat avec glaçage blanc. Les donuts au chocolat sont mieux en vrai que sur les photos et rendent super bien sur une peau claire comme la mienne. Je vais en faire davantage.

Amsterdam - Summer in April

Hey :)

We went to Amsterdam and the weather was crazy hot. It was just like summer. I was all the time in skirt and t-shirt.
