Plate Rings & Tiny Life Update

Hey everyone!

So far my life doesn't seem to calm down.
I was 1 week in Paris, I turned 26 (I totally forgot to tell you!!), I got a little crazy and got myself quite a lot of skirts and a dress, my Mum arrives for 1 week tomorrow and my BF's brother comes 10 days in August.
In September I'll be 1 week in Berlin and am going to attend Hello Etsy aaaand in October I'm going to give a polymer clay class in England. I still need to take my train tickets yikes >< (but hey I already have the plane tickets :P)

Oooh and we found some great chairs! They are second hand and look like Arne Jacobsen chairs. I have no clue if these are real ones or reproductions, but they look shabby chic and I love them *___*
Here a crappy picture (you may notice that I was going to have breakfast, salted butter and strawberry jam are on the table and I was going to watch ted.com)

Other than that I made some plate rings. I have only 1 piece of each, so if you like them, don't hesitate too much :)

Sushi For A Friend

I was in Paris last week and visited some very good friends.
One of them literally begged to get something from me last time I visited, and since he's a Japan freak and loves sushi, well, I made him a sushi plate ^^
The chopsticks I'm using in my pictures are a present of Japan from that same friend.

I also made a bunch of pendants, rings and ear studs and some miniatures to collect.
Now is the time to grab the sushi, because I don't do sushi that often :)

J'étais à Paris la semaine dernière, rendant visite à de très bons amis.
Lors de ma dernière visite, un ami m'avait supplié de lui faire quelque chose, et comme il adore le Japon et les sushis et bien je lui ai fait une assiette de sushis ^^
Les baguettes que j'utilise sur une des photos sont d'ailleurs un cadeau de cet ami :)


J'en ai profité pour faire des pendentifs, bagues, clous d'oreilles et des miniatures à collectionner.
C'est le moment de se jeter dessus, je n'en fais pas si souvent :)

Candy Table Update

Hey everyone!

The candy table goes in the right direction :D
But I don't know where to find nor what fabric I'll get for the table. I thought yellow first, but now maybe white, or something striped? Or maybe I print something on fabric? aaah decisions!
And I also wonder if I should put the table in a wall+floor setting.
As you can see, I'm made of doubts ^^

La table de dessert va dans la bonne direction :D
Bon pour l'instant je ne sais pas quoi utiliser pour la nappe (ni ou trouver le tissu). J'avais pensé à du jaune, puis du blanc ou peut-être des rayures? Ou peut-être imprimer quelque chose sur du tissu? aaah!
Et puis je me demande également si je dois l'installer dans un duo mur+sol.
Comme vous pouvez le voir, je suis indécise ^^

New Website & Cookies

Cute cookies ^^ new im shop and available here.

Since a few months my new website and online shop are running.
I'd like to present who is behind all that hard work.
Depuis quelques mois mon site a intégré mon magasin en ligne et ce blog.
J'aimerai présenter qui est derrière tout ce travail.


I did the layout and design, but when I had to integrate the online shop, my mind said no. I really did not have the time to bother with php.
So I went to a coder for some help.
J'ai fait le design du site, mais lorsqu'il était question de se plonger dans le php, je suis allé chercher de l'aide chez un codeur.


What he did:
- partially transform my site in php
- integrate my online shop to my website
- change the code on blogger and on the online shop so everything looks alike
Ce qu'il a fait :
- partiellement transformé mon site en php 
- intégré le magasin en ligne
- changé le code sur blogger et le magasin pour que tout se ressemble


Short: I'm happy, really happy with his work. It was quick and efficient.
Bref: je suis très contente de son travail. C'était rapide et efficace.

Meet John and Mia

Hey!

After a stressful week with 2 wholesale orders to finish, I needed a dolly break.
John & Mia have been with us for a few months already, but I never got around to show them. They both are from HollandsWorth. And perfect for 1:12 scale.
They also look pretty cool, which is a nice change to the cute bjds I have. I love how Mia is dressed, but I have a slight (hahaha) stripe addiction, so I'm biased ^^


Goodies:
The table I did myself, the shelf is from AmazingMiniatures @ Etsy, the fish picture is from Frances Melhop, the chairs Reac Japans.

Just a picture because Alice is adorable with her big blue eyes and her blue hair.

And this is what I've been working on this week, the order left today for Hong Kong :)

Fresh Fruit Tarts For Summer

It's sunny and warm and we should be out walking. But poor BF is tired after an extremely exhausting week (he worked late every evening and came once back at 2 A.M.).
So we're staying home and I use the time to list my latest fruit tarts :)

I made four flowery rings and four brooches. I just have one of each and put them all in my online shop, you can find them in the "fruit tart collection" section.

Il fait beau et chaud ici et on devrait être dehors à se balader. Mais mon pauvre copain est mort de fatigue après une semaine de travail intense (il a travaillé tard tous les jours et est rentré un soir à 2h du matin).

Du coup, on reste à la maison et j'en profite pour mettre en ligne mes dernières tartes aux fruits :)

J'ai fait quatre bagues fleuries et quatre broches. Je n'ai qu'un exemplaire de chaque et je les ai mises dans mon magasin en ligne, dans la section "Collection Les Tartes".

Market, Crab and Sea

Food we bought (minus the duck breast and the crabs)

This morning, we went to the market and got some crab! The crab is bought when it's still alive and you boil it in hot water, then you let it cool down. We ate it with some mayonnaise, some salad and bread.

I had a nap (I had quite an exhausting week), and then we went for a walk at Quiberon, beautiful place :)

All in all a beautiful day :)

Piping Exercice

Hey :)

I made some St Honorés. They were supposed to be done for the miniature fairs (hahaha... ahem) but I finished them this morning :D
Of course many are failed, because piping is just not something I'm very good at (yet... haha! I wish XD). So I'm very probably going to sell them for not much. Along with other mini that just lie around and take up space for nothing. Don't worry, I'll shout it on my blog if and when I put them online.

Anyway! Here the "good ones" which I'll use on another dessert table in pink (I cannot work on one single project at a time - same with books, I always read 3-4 books at a time, don't ask me why, I'm just plain weird).

Allé hop en français (vous noterez que je fais un effort surhumain pour traduire dans ma langue maternelle!).
Alooooors, j'ai enfin fini les St Honorés qui étaient sensés venir avec moi aux foires de miniatures (ha! Stéph toujours aussi comique!)
Evidemment, y'en a plein de ratés, je suis nulle en crême chantilly (surtout parce que je trouve ça immonde à manger je pense). Je vais très probablement mettre les ratés à vendre pour pas grand-chose avec d'autres miniatures qui traînent à la maison.


Bref! Voici les "bons"que je vais utiliser sur une autre table de dessert en rose (ouais je fais toujours 20 trucs en même temps, c'est un style de vie - je lis également toujours 3-4 livres en même temps, je ne sais pas pourquoi, je suis juste bizarre).

And here the failed ones. The yellow and red are just awful, the other look good but are crooked and there's too much cream :/
