I went back form London on Monday but since I'm in the middle of a Xmas rush I jsut hadn't the time to post about my short but awesome trip :)

I'll let the pictures speak from themselves, I'm not a big writer anyway ^^

Je suis rentrée de Londres lundi, mais j'ai atteri dans un rush de Noël, du coup je n'ai pas vraiment eu le temps de parler de mon séjour court mais intense à Londres :)

I also went (as usual) to the Centre Pompidou (modern art museum) and I saw an Edward Munch exhibition. I did take some pictures of the art inside. If you really want to see those pictures, leave a comment ^^

Salon du Chocolat - Vannes

We went to the "Salon du Chocolat" in Vannes and it was fun. We bought far too much chocolate and other treats (no macarons if you're wondering, we're not macarons fans) and I tried to shoot pictures in all possible white balance settings.
And well from what I tried, I think the auto-mode for the white balance seems to work best (although I'm not sure because I tried so many that I had so many different pictures and well, I'm just not too sure about it...).
Pictures have been post-edited for the white balance and the contrast a touch. Well I'm still learning to use the camera properly... also I might get a macro objective to get better bokeh effects (but hey I'm a noob sooo much to learn ^^)

I'm in Paris over the WE, going to see 30 Seconds to Mars on Saturday (btw it's going to be a white themed night huhu) and to try to sort out a problem I have with my social security (to be very brief I paid too much over 2 years)
I hope to be able to just stroll through Paris and take pictures. I really need to be quite perfect once I'm in London end of November.

That being said, I have orders to finish and to pack :)

I'm a Giant Challenge 3

Oh boy, oh boy!

I'm soooo excited about this! I worked on it all WE, I even skipped yoga, just because I really wanted to finish the first part of my room box.

Guesses are open and you'll win something fun if you guess right.

Something fun = earrings or a ring or a cake, depending on what you prefer ^^

Fooling around with my new camera and printed parquet and brick wall. I need more of that paper, the print comes out perfect.

I'm a Giant Challenge 2 - Building the Room

Hey!

So well, you might remember that I said I was going to attend the I'm a Giant Challenge.
I finally managed to start to work on it last week.

Hey Everyone!

Today is going to be a long post :-)

First thing first: I haaaaave a neeew cameraaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yaaay! I wanted to ask it for Xmas first, but hey, once I decide on something I turn into an impatient little girl. So I proudly present my Canon EOS 550D (with me in the bathroom, how classy, right? XD).

I made tons of pictures and tried out most of what was written in the manual, but I still need some time to adjust to the awesomeness of this camera ^^

I tried to capture water drops, but somehow the picture was so dark. So I put the ISO really high (1600 ttss) but still :/ I shot different pictures but none were bright enough. In the end I changed levels, luminosity and contrast on photoshop and here you go.

I don't know how to make it good. But maybe the lens I have is just not meant to shot that kind of pictures?

As you might know, I'll be in LONDON soon (did I mention that I love my life?) and will be at the craft market Got Craft?

Now that particular market hands out to the 30 first arrives a swag bag, and I'm going to spoil them rotten ^^

I also swapped quite a lot lately but didn't had the time to show you. In fact now that I'm writing I'm thinking I forgot a few things... ahem >< well next time maybe...
So anyway, I swapped with L♥valizious so my doll also have way too early Xmas gifts ^^

And I worked on better bread and bakery items. Well it's not really finished yet, but my new camera wanted to shot whatever was in the room XD
Unvarnished and unfinished, but hey bread nonetheless. I hopefully am going to finish those soon and make a proper miniature bread post about it :)

Ooh and I got published in a few different things, Make Jewellery, and the Dawanda LoveBooks French Edition and English Edition :)

Actually I also started to work on the I'm a Giant Challenge (at last!) but no proper pictures since I'm still building the "room". Hopefully it'll get as awesome as I have it in head ^^'
