 Sometimes I need a creative break.
So I do stuff.
Today, I did some braided bracelets, following this Honestly WTF DIY.

Parfois j'ai besoin d'un break créatif.

Alors je fais des trucs.

Aujourd'hui c'était des bracelets, suivant les instructions de Honestly WTF.

Rainbow Cake - Gâteau Arc-en-Ciel

Hey :)

I made four pastel rainbow cakes and decorated them in 4 different ways.
Three of them have been decorated with colored bead lines and one with big confettis.
I placed every single bead or confetti one by one with a toothpick on the cake. This long and hard work resulted in 4 very fun and modern looking cakes :)

J'ai confectionné quatre gâteaux arc-en-ciel dans les tons pastels. Chaque gâteau a une décoration différente.

Trois gâteaux miniature arc-en-ciel sont décorés avec des lignes composées de perles colorés. Un gâteau a été décoré avec des gros confettis. J'ai déposé chaque perle ou confetti un à un sur le gâteau à l'aide d'un cure-dent. Un travail long et fastidieux pour un résultat très moderne :)

Thanks Call of the Small :)

A while ago I saw some utterly cool chairs on the blog of call of the small, the igloo chairs!
I went straight to their US website, but shipping was outrageous and Christine offered me a swap :)

Our First Sushi...

Our first sushi was kinda failed XD
The rice wasn't sticky at all, but hey it still tasted pretty awesome.
Any tips on making perfect sushi rice are very welcome :D

Nos premiers sushis (enfin makis) étaient un peu ratés. Le riz n'était pas du tout gluant, mais bon, c'était bon quand même :P
Si vous avez des astuces pour un riz gluant parfait, surtout n'hésitez pas :D

Black Forest Cake and Non Working Website

Blackforest cakes! yaay!
I piped the whipped cream by hand, you can see the cake tip on the last picture.
One cake is about 2 cm (7/8") big.

On the bad side, my website isn't working and I don't really know why but my webhoster is working on it :(

Le gâteau fait environ 2 cm ^^ et j'ai fait la chantilly avec une douille que l'on peut voir sur la dernière photo ^^

Sinon, mon site ne marche pas... mais mon hébergeur y travaille boouu!

Pastel Rainbow

 Marie-Antoinette Pastel Cupcake Earring

Hey everyone!

If you don't know it already, pastel is a big fashion hit this summer. And since pastel is absolutely perfect when it comes to pastry, I started a whole collection around baby blue, rose, vanilla, mint and frosty orange.

I'm not quite done yet, but this is the first batch of pastel goodness :)
I really hope you'll like everything!

Si vous n'étiez pas au courant, les couleurs dans les tons pastel sont tendance pour cette été; Et comme le pastel c'est fait pour la pâtisserie, j'ai créé toute une collection de gourmandises autour du rose, bleu ciel, menthe, orange et vanille.

Je n'ai pas tout à fait terminé, mais voici un premier groupe de bijoux gourmands dans des tons glacés :)

Alice Project - Wonky Cake

I made this little cute wonky cake yesterday. I'm so happy with the result!
It's the object of an upcoming tutorial on CraftEdu.com but I still need to edit all the pics, make the video and well... talk on the video so it's going to take a bit time.

I think I'm going to make more wonky cakes, so much fun! I really hope you like it ^^

J'ai fait ce petit gâteau tout mini hier. J'en suis ravie! C'est le sujet de mon prochain cours sur CraftEdu.com mais j'ai encore besoin d'éditer toutes les photos ainsi que de faire la video et d'enregistrer ma voix.

Ce type de gâteau, le "wonky cake" m'a tellement amusé, j'aimerai en faire plus! j'espère que vous l'appréciez ^^

I went with something simple, the "casual" one with 25 pages.

Pour débuter vous avez pas mal de templates pour créer votre album photo. 

J'ai choisi "casual", un des plus simple.

Once you've chosen the template you wanted, the sky's the limit. You can change the background (plain color, paper or texture), drag and drop pictures in the ready places (that is fun). Or just drag pictures as it and crop them, rotate them and place them where you see fit.
Après on peut ajouter et changer l'arrière-plan (colour, papier ou texture), ajouter des images, etc. Le tout sur une interface assez intuitive.

You can easily drag and drop pictures in the picture windows or just drag and drop them directly on the sheet.
On peut tirer et poser les photos dans les petites fenêtres à photos ou les placer librement sur la page.

You can also add all kinds of embellishments. You can get more on MyMemories website, but I'm guessing you can find a lot more on the web too. Or make your owns as well.
Et évidemment, il y a une multitude de décorations à ajouter. On peut en trouver davantage sur le site de MyMemories, mais je suppose qu'on peut aussi en trouver sur le web.

And add shapes and text if you're like me and do a tutorial ^^

Overall a very fun software which is easy to use.

Fruit Tart Dangle Earrings

 Fruit Tart Jewelry in My Online Shop

I've been redoing my fruit tart dangle earrings. I worked out a better tart shape, so the tarts look good on the front and the back.
I'm slowly re-working all dangle earrings and pendants.

I'm unsure yet about the studs and rings, since you're not supposed to see the back. Besides the "old" version are still available and it's unlikely I can change everything quickly so I guess I'm going to sell both versions for a while until I redo all the designs? What do you think?

J'ai retravaillé la base de mes tartes sur les boucles d'oreilles pendantes. La base est mieux qu'avant et surtout c'est joli sur le devant et le derrière.

Pour l'instant je ne sais pas trop comment améliorer les clous d'oreilles et bagues, vu qu'on n'est pas sensé voir l'arrière. Sans compter que refaire tous les modèles et les photos est un processus assez long, du coup les 2 versions seront disponibles pendant un temps? hm... vous en pensez quoi?

Chocolate Tarts

Chocolate tarts!
I always make the crust before and bake it, then fill it.
Now those 5 were lying around for a few months, I forgot about them and found them while re-organizing my studio (ahem...).
So I made 5 chocolate tarts variations :)
