Sooo today I installed a way of leaving FB comments on my blog, so yay! It seems to lag a little, but it's there, so use it!

I also tweaked a little my website and cleaned up my online shop a bit.
Aaaan I listed cheese and pork meats platters!

Alooors aujourd'hui j'ai mis en place la possibilité de laisser des commentaires FB sur mon blog, ça semble lagguer un peu, mais ça marche, alors on utilise!

J'ai aussi fais quelques changements sur mon site et épuré un peu mon magasin en ligne.

Eeeeeet j'ai mis en ligne des plateaux de charcuterie ainsi que des plateaux de fromages :)

I know I blog a lot right now, but as soon as everything is photographed and listed I'll start on my book and I won't blog much.

Cuisiner c'est marrant ... surtout en miniature :D

J'ai mis en ligne plus de miniatures dans mon magasin et 1 miniature sur Etsy.

Je sais je blogue beaucoup en ce moment, mais une fois toutes les miniatures photographiées et mises en ligne, je me jette sur le travail de mon livre et le blog ne serait pas ma priorité.

Off, Off to the SIMP in Paris

Hey Everyone!

Tomorrow I'm off to Paris in order to attend the miniature fair in Paris, the SIMP.
My stand number has been changed today and now I'll be at stand 47. Central row.
If you read my blog/FB/something, don't be shy and say hi :)

SIMP in 1 weeeeek eeeeeeeeek!

Next and last miniature fair for me is the SIMP in Paris... which is next week!
Aaaaaaah! *running around like a headless chicken*
Now I do have quite a lot but I still have soooo much on my mind, I want to make cheese and sandwiches and meat and did I mention I just have 1 week left?

Patisserie and Sweet Small Stuff

Oh boy, I feel so overwhelmed right now! Last post wasn't a proper blog post, I just kinda shot a very quick picture of my purchases and hardly talked about the fair.

Well, well!
Soooo what I learned at the fair was that people (especially Europeans apparently) want single pieces, like just 1 cheese or 1 cookie (yes, yes 1 cookie) so they can buy expensive plates and play with the food.
Since I'm all for getting money at fairs (bad capitalist girl that I am) I'm adapting and have been doing tons of single pastries and biscuits these last days.
I plan on cheese and pork meats coming week and well we'll see how much time I've got left for ahem other things :D

Also I'm attending a drama class and will be playing on the 30th of June, so aaaah! I'm getting nuts on that side, 'cause it's taking time and all I want to do is making mini food! And I miss my daily chat with my Dinooos (you know who you are).

Booon je suis méga débordée en ce moment! Le dernier post n'était pas top, j'ai en gros balancé des images assez rapides de mon salon en Allemagne et paf.

Donc!

Ce que j'ai appris au salon c'est que les gens veulent des miniatures à l'unité... en gros 1 religieuse, 1 brie ou 1 éclair. Comme ça ils peuvent acheter de jolis plats et placer des aliments achetés dessus (en gros ils veulent jouer).

Donc j'ai fait des madeleines, des palmiers et diverses pâtisseries :D

Aussi j'ai suivi un cours de théâtre cette année et la représentation est le 30 juin. Aaaah! Et j'en ai marre, parce que ça prend du temps et tout ce que j'ai envie de faire c'est des miniatures!

Back From Germany

Hey hey :)
Last WE I was at the 1:12 miniature fair in Germany.
And woot! First time I actually make some (even though ridiculous) benefits. I also finally understood what people wanted and had wonderful time chatting with others, especially Neil (who does amazing bronze sculptures) and Pia (who made the bamboos I got :D).

De retour d'Allemagne et de la foire 1:12.

Et ouaaa j'ai fait des bénéfices (certes ridicules) pour la première fois.

Et aussi j'ai enfin compris ce que les acheteurs voulaient ha!

Sinon j'ai bien papoté et tout particulièrement avec Neil (qui fait des sculptures en bronze) et Pia (qui a fait les bambous que j'ai achetés).

Goodies: Pottery/Poterie Elisabeth Causeret, cooking tools/ustensiles de cuisine Mini de Pierluigi, Bamboo/Bambou Pia, furniture/meubles In Het Poppenhuis.
