Rainbow Cake Revisited
My dear rainbow-y unicorns,
As I told you yesterday, I've been working on layered cakes this week-end and was pleased as punch with the result. And since I had so much fun, I took out the rainbow cakes I did last year and gave those a proper presentation.
Comme je vous ai dit hier, j'ai travaillé sur de nouveaux gâteaux ce week-end. Du coup j'ai ressorti mes gâteaux arc-en-ciel et je leur ai fait de vraies présentations.
So this post is about old cakes but shown in a new way :)
Ce sont donc de vieux gâteaux, mais présentés d'une nouvelle manière :)
For those of you sick of rainbows, next cakes will be chocolate ones :P
Et pour ceux et celles qui en ont marre des arc-en-ciels, les prochains gâteaux seront au chocolat :P
xx

DeleteHi Stephanie,
ReplyDeleteI love your style of rainbow cakes! I've done them before (for real in our kitchen, yum yum! :) and in miniature too. I put white icing in between my layers, but I like yours better. There's something about it, really makes it look good, kind of like a multi-colored pound cake with the texturing you've done so very well. I also like the meticulous way you placed the micro beads and the designs you made on the cake with them. That must have took you forever, and the end result is AMAZING!
Many mini hugs,
Jackie
thanks Jackie!
DeleteYes those I didn't put a white layer between them but sometimes I do (the cake I blogged about the day before for instance).
I mainly work with colors, so I just go with what I think looks best ^^
